MOTIVATION

Volunteering as an afterschool tutor for inner-city school kids for several years I have seen firsthand the detrimental effects poverty has on academic success.

In today's individualistic society many believe hard work is all it takes to succeed. I want to highlight the unseen disadvantages low socioeconomic students face and move people to help.

VISUAL DESIGN

Previously, I had researched and designed a static infographic on the education gap between high and low socioeconomic classes

Since the statistics represent real people, I wanted to bring the static graphic to life with a 3d-animation
