MOTIVATION

Volunteering as an afterschool tutor for inner-city school kids for several years I have seen firsthand the detrimental effects poverty has on academic success.

In today's individualistic society many believe hard work is all it takes to succeed. I want to highlight the unseen disadvantages low socioeconomic students face and move people to help.

PROJECT GOAL

Create an infographic to inform, educate, and improve the education gap between students of low and high socioeconomic classes.
